Thank god for these men. I look at the youth and think wow. What happened it's not their fault imo, technology has ruined everything. I've just today read Damien Lewis' re-telling of this story in his book, "Brothers in Arms". Rest in Peace Mr Sadler. The world needs now, more than ever, honourable, disciplined, men and women like yourself and your colleagues from that point in history. People for whom integrity, loyalty and honesty are at the very core of their existence.

This blind old man. A wonderful human being, so modest yet, so, so brave. A true hero who should be revered and commemorated. What a man.

5:25 My grandad (John Joseph Folan) was a stoker in the Navy during the war. He was born in western Ireland and was very much working-class and I suspect at least one of those things was true of all of them, hence why they got paid less for doing more work.
